The 6’8” Washington Avenue Ramp entrance is on Union Street.

Taller vehicles should use the 8’2” University Avenue Ramp or hotel surface lot off Walnut Street.

From the north, heading south on I-35W

• Take Exit #18, 4th Street-University Avenue exit

• Cross 4th Street and turn left (east) on University Avenue

• Stay in the right lane for about six blocks and turn right (south) onto Church Street

• Enter the University of Minnesota Twin Cities East Bank Campus and immediately turn left (east) on Pillsbury Drive

• Pillsbury Drive curves south and becomes Harvard Street

• Turn right (west) onto Beacon Street

• Drive one block west on Beacon Street and turn left (south) onto Union Street

• Immediately turn left into the Washington Avenue Ramp — located on the left (east) side of the street

• Note: When exiting Washington Avenue Ramp, you’ll turn left onto Harvard Street.

From the south, heading north on I-35W

• Take Exit #18, 4th Street-University Avenue exit

• Turn right (east) on University Avenue

From the east or west on I-94

• Take Exit #235B, University of Minnesota/Huron Boulevard

• Follow Huron Boulevard north for one block and turn left (west) onto Fulton Street (first stop light)

• Drive three blocks west on Fulton Street and turn right (north) onto Oak Street

• Drive three blocks north on Oak Street and turn left (west) onto Washington Avenue

• Drive one block west on Washington Avenue and turn right (north) onto Walnut Street
  Caution: Do not proceed beyond Walnut Street on Washington Avenue

• Drive around The Graduate Hotel and ramp by driving one block north on Walnut Street and turn left (west) onto Beacon Street

• Drive two blocks west on Beacon Street and turn left (south) onto Union Street

• Immediately turn left into the Washington Avenue Ramp — located on the left (east) side of the street

• Note: When exiting Washington Avenue Ramp, you’ll turn right onto Harvard Street and proceed south to Delaware Street or East River Parkway. Do not turn onto Washington Avenue.

Washington Avenue Ramp is connected by skyway and tunnel to The Graduate Hotel and McNamara Alumni Center, so you can get from your vehicle to the hotel and celebration without stepping outside.

Once inside the hotel on the second floor, follow the signs to McNamara Alumni Center!
